Sales Manager - North Sarasota, FL

We are currently looking for motivated, high-energy individuals to apply for our Sales Manager position. Our store management team is responsible for both personal sales as well as the sales performance of the entire sales team. Come be part of the growing team!

Responsibilities include:

Train and develop sales associates on product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service
Work with sales team to maximize sales and profitability
Attain both personal and store goals in sales volume and related revenue metrics
Management coverage of the store location, including opening and close of the store
Maintain up-to-date knowledge about furniture products
Ensures customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality service/products, courteous employees and quick response to needs
Analyze and process customer orders accurately
Provide outstanding customer services before and after the sale
Ensure that furniture is delivered to customers in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years in sales management or assistant store management in a retail setting
Demonstrated success of past commission sales, preferably in furniture
Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
Ability to move furniture for product demonstration
All applicants are subject to background checks

Compensation:

Ranges from $45,000-$60,000 per year through a combination of salary, commission and bonuses

We are currently looking for super-motivated, high-energy individuals to apply for our Sales Associate position. Furniture experience is not required to be exceptional in this position. The Furniture Warehouse promotes top talent from within for future management opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain a working knowledge of the company products and policies
Stay up to date on advertised sales events and financing promotions
Greet customers, respond to questions and provide outstanding customer service
Assist customers in purchasing decisions, in particular room selections and design/style decisions
Present and explain promotions to customers, special financing plans, delivery procedures, and warranties
Input sales tickets into the retail software system per company guidelines
Coordinate delivery between the customer and the distribution/delivery system
Expedite the resolution of customer concerns to maximize satisfaction
Ensure an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor by cleaning, straightening, and maintaining merchandise
Assist in maintaining and safeguarding an accurate inventory
Meet selling requirements and follow all rules as written in the company floor rules and sales guidelines
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED
Strong computer skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong communication, verbal and written, listening, and follow-up skills
Ability to move furniture for product demonstration
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish helpful
Ability to work evenings and weekends

Compensation:

Ranges from $45,000-$55,000 per year average (top performers earning $70,000 - $80,000+) through commission, bonuses, and spiffs; guaranteed $120 per day ($15 per hour)

Furniture Transfer Driver - Bradenton, FL

We are seeking a reliable and energetic full-time Transfer Driver. The Transfer Driver's responsibilities include driving a company delivery vehicle to transport merchandise between the warehouse and the company stores as well as loading and unloading merchandise.

A CDL is NOT required for this position. License MUST be approved by insurance. Come be part of the growing team!

To be considered, MUST have previous delivery driving experience, a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD, and a BACKGROUND clear of ALL CRIMINAL ACTIVITY.

What You’ll Do:

Load, secure, and protect the merchandise in the delivery vehicle and safely transport to showrooms
Unload merchandise at showrooms and perform basic assembly
Assist with room set ups on showroom floor
Assist Floor Coordinator decorate showrooms (hang art, hang rugs, adjust track lights)
Maintain compliance with the company’s driver qualification policy
Abide by all transportation laws
Comply with all company delivery vehicle safety standards and documentation
Serve as a backup for the Furniture Delivery Driver
